Glenda Ama joins Process Air System Sales and Process Air Manufacturing as the new President of both Corporations. She is a leading executive in sales, marketing and new business development, bringing 30 years of industry experience in sales, sales management, marketing, engineering, business operations and long term strategic planning. Glenda’s nationwide network of strong business partnerships led her to Process Air, where she is a welcomed addition to the team.
Prior to joining Process Air, Glenda was an Account Executive with Johnson Controls, focusing on owner direct sales. She led the team in account management and customer relationships, including new business development. Some of her highlights include data center chiller plant planned service agreements, process equipment design for food manufacturing and critical environment building control system upgrades.
From 1987 through 2012, Glenda held various positions with Carrier Corporation, Allied Technologies of Kentucky, Steril-Aire and American Ultraviolet. She has served as a Sales Engineer with manufacturer representative firms, and in national and regional sales management positions focusing on applied equipment, unitary products, custom air handling units, ventilation products, fiberglass scrubbers, carbon filtration, dust collection, commercial and industrial tubular centrifugal and axial fans, hospital isolation control systems, building automation systems and UVC technology. Indoor air quality, energy efficiency and sustainability have always been an important component to the quality products and design solutions Glenda offers.
Glenda has been an active member of ASHRAE – American Society Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers – since 1996. She has held many chapter positions such as House Chair, Membership Chair and Research Promotions. Glenda has served as Research Promotions Regional Vice Chair for Region VI. She is an active member of the ASHE – American Society of Healthcare Engineers, as well as BOMA – Building Owners and Managers Association.
Scott has 34 years in the HVAC Industry. Scott joined process Air in 2002, after many years in a sales support role with Power Conditioning and T.H. Brooks & Associates. He previously served as V.P. of Operations for Process Air and remains in an active sales role with the company.
Scott’s primary areas of focus include application, selection and estimation for vibration isolation, ventilation systems, fan coil systems, air distribution, humidifiers, filtration, centrifugal fans, and UVC technology.
Scott studied Air Conditioning Technology at Hillsborough Community College. He has served on the Student Advisory Board for Erwin Vo-Tech’s A/C and Refrigeration Course, assisting the instructors with proposed course preview and conducting in-school lectures for the Adult Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Program.
Sales and Marketing Manager
Nicole Cooper joins as our Sales and Marketing Manager. Nicole joins us with 9 years in customer service and 5 years in team leadership and marketing support.
Nicole will be responsible for managing our marketing department to include social media. She will also focus on new business development in the healthcare industry.
